Republic of Austria is a landlocked country in the middle of Central Europe. Borders Germany and the Czech Republic in the north, Slovakia and Hungary to the east, Slovenia and Italy to the south, and Switzerland and Liechtenstein to the west. The capital is Vienna. Austria is famous for its classical music. This state of yore much larger and is part of the Austro-Hungarian empire.
Austria is a country with a parliamentary system of representative democracy comprising nine federal states, and became one of the two European countries to declare its neutrality. Origin Name
 In German name Österreich can be translated into "Middle Kingdom" word is derived from the Old High German language Ostarrîchi. This term may be derived from the translation of the Latin name of the area: Marchia orientalis, meaning "eastern border", considering that the country was indeed located at the eastern end of the Holy Roman Empire.
